Nice play by Abula

This past few days, my brain was in chaos because of the unexpected things that had happened. So, I surfed the net just to divert my attention and luckily I stumbled upon this nice music entitled "abula's piano practice".

The tone of every key makes me feel better. The tune is so great that makes me feel like I'm in eutopia. This music really heals a broken heart.

Take time to listen and close your eyes.... If you want some more check this music too.

Got Rheumatoid Arthiritis?

Last 2007, I was starting to feel stiffness and pain in my joints. I didn't bother to go to the doctor because I thought it will be relieved by "over-the-counter-pain reliever" but I was wrong. It keeps on hurting and I was worried already. I decided to visit my doctor for a medical check-up and the doctor told me that I have a Rheumatoid Arthritis. He prescribed prednisone as my medication and it really helps. Anyway, I was curious about Rheumatoid Arthritis . So, I did a little research. The cause of RA is unknown but it is said that viruses, bacteria, and fungi have long to be suspected but none has been proven yet. Other say that it is genetic and some say environmental factor. I also read that females are prone to develop RA than males. Regarding the other medications for RA, I haven't tried them because prednisone works perfectly for me. But I believe that these medications (Humira, Enbrel, Orencia, Remicade) are also effective in treating RA. Well, I did a little reading about these medications. It is very well said that the onset of the action can take several weeks or months to demonstrate it's clinical effect while prednisone (NSAIDs) have a short onset of action. If I would given a change to create an ad for a prescription RA medication, I should say, " Control and Manage your RA by taking your regular medication. Remember, medication compliance is the best way to stay healthy and strong".

Being pregnant is a gift...

When we found out that my sister was pregnant during her college years, my dad was very mad. He scolded my sister like there is no tomorrow but as time passed by... my father slowly accepted the fact that she is pregnant and now he (dad) loves the baby so much! He even said to the baby "You are a gift" from God.

Anyway, that is how my sister looks like during her pregnancy. She experienced physical/bodily changes during the 2nd semester of her pregnancy. First, she gained 2 times her previous weight, skin pigmentation in the axillary, neck, and abdomen occur. Stretch marks (stria gravidarum), linia nigra were also present. She also experienced swelling on both lower extremities during the 3rd trimester.

Those changes that made her looks "ugly" was so frustrating to her. But guess what? Advance science has a lot of discoveries and that is Beaute de Maman. This is a unique line of health and beauty products developed by a board-certified obstetrician to treat problems concerning hormonal and physiological changes that a pregnant women experienced.
